This was a new park for us and we enjoyed our time here in spite of not doing much of anything except walk. The nearest town was about 20 miles away and that was fairly small. The campground restrooms and showers were better than many, the campsites spread out in some spots, and for the most part, quite roomy. In parts of the campground, there was very good cellular coverage, but in others it was about nonexistent. We had some spectacular sunsets, and the red bud tree on our site was beautiful.

We also saw a custom built RV – we called it the Serengetimobile. The two folks who owned it were planning on full-timing when they retired, and with it, they'll be ready for anything. It was built on a German-built Mercedes military truck chassis, and had a 100 gallon fresh water tank. The box that housed their sleeping and eating quarters was fiberglass inside and out with high-value insulation between. The bed hung from the ceiling above the seating area and was lowered into place with a switch when ready for bed.

The sunsets here were spectacular. You'd think we'd tire of taking photos of them, but you can never have too much beauty in your life.
